24 Hours of Exposure
The event is being held in Newcastleton on the 22-23rd May 2010 and is creating a buzz between the top 24 hour solo riders. The event is exclusive to solo competitors putting each rider on an equal standing to prove who is the best endurance athlete. The race is being held at the beginning of the season so there are no excuses of fatigue from other solo outings. Big names in the 24 hour world have already signed up showing their colours in trying to prove they are the best and most determined rider on the course.
Rob Lee, 2005 24 hours of adrenalin Solo World Champion, recommends 24 hours of Exposure for the budding soloist "don't think it's all about those fast guys though as this event really is a celebration of soloing. Think about it, this is a SOLO ONLY event: no random, fresh, one-lap heroes blasting past and knocking you flying. It boasts neutral support for every competitor, possibly the most weather friendly course a 24 has ever had in this country, plenty of good riding, plenty of safe overtaking, plenty of singletrack.
