Bat Man's Choice!
Exposure Lights' Joystick MaXx has become the "torch of choice" for bat fans. UK company Batbox Ltd are the Exposure Lights of bat detectors. Also based in Sussex UK they design and make the Worlds leading ultrasonic detectors and recorders. When a bat is detected a visual identification is next but conventional torches are not bright enough or give out heat from regular bulbs that the bats can sense. A 24 hour mountain bike race, in the middle of winter, in the far North of Scotland. Not only is there the threat of savage weather but at this time of year darkness descends for about 17hours on this event; a true test of the bike lights and a perfect test for the new Exposure Piggyback Battery systems.
