Congratulations to the Scott team, hard work and excellent equipment meant a faultless race and the top step of the podium as a result.
Taking the spoils in the Expert Mixed category at OS Mountain Mayhem 2010 the Scott team powered to victory lead by Nick Craig, with Swiss Power riders Matthias Rupp and Roger Walder flown in from Switzerland and Nicky Harris completing the talented line-up.
From the gun the Scott team were out in front, Nick Craig leading by example and setting a stunning lap time after a super fast run. From then on it was a case of staying out in front maintaining the professional standards inherent to all the team to ensure there were no mistakes or oversights in the race. In a race which claimed so many casualties the machinery worked without skipping a beat, spannering was perfection but little called upon as the preparation was so good. The Scott team run through the night on Exposure Lights and using Diablo and MaXx-D combinations, the lap times were as quick in the darkest hours as they were in the middle of the day. Morning broke on a chilly course and the Team kept everything moving like clockwork. In the end notching up 31 laps of the 8.8 mile course.
Congratulations also to the South Downs Bikes team of Emma Craddock, Steve Calland, James D'Arcy, Roger Smith and Simon MacNamara winning the Mixed Sport category, riding 28 laps in a little over 24 hours. The winning team were once again powered by Exposure Lights.
