Products and service of the highest quality.
Having an aero seat post it’s often difficult to find a light that will fit on the narrow post. This aero seat bracket offers a perfect fit for my aero seat post & allows me to use my exposure light on my road bike. Very satisfied, great product.
Does what it’s supposed to and does it well.
Perfect fit
To be honest, not the best piece of kit that I received from Exposure, and I bought my first Exposure light back in 2012. The problem with this bracket is that when riding down some rough gravel roads, the spacer between the bracket and seat post fell out. Fortunately, the bracket still remained tight enough around the aero seatpost that it held on until I got home–when I realized that the spacer was gone. So I did not loose the expensive light. I promply ordered another bracket, but unfortunately ordered the wrong one. I could have returned the old bracket, but the return shipping from Canada would have cost more than it was worth. I wrote Exposure about my loss and hoped that as a long term customer, and have bought several products from them over the years, they would just refund me and tell me to keep the incorrect product (as has happened to me from other overseas suppliers). But that never occurred to them. So I just was more careful and ordered the correct bracket this time. To prevent the spacer from falling out again, I used bailing wire to permanently tie the bracket and aero spacer together. As I now have a spare bracket, if I want to use the tail light on one of my bikes with a round seatpost, I can use the other bracket.
Not bad
Was actually after an aero seatpost mount to work with my Tracer R light to keep it pointing directly behind - but that is not what I got. Why is that not an option? It should be please. I have purchased maybe 10 TracR s over the last 20 years (or as long as they have been around). Perhaps you could give me a sweet deal on the BoostR if that is the only option there is?
