Description

The Radial7 is a 5,700 lumen auxiliary light for adventure and touring motorcycles, designed and built in West Sussex. That output figure is measured from the front of the light rather than added up from LED datasheet claims, which is why it looks conservative next to some competitors quoting theoretical numbers.

It connects to your motorcycle's LIN bus and runs off the switchgear you already have. There is no relay to mount, no fuse tap, no aftermarket switch pod and no loom taped under the tank. Brightness, mode and colour changes happen through the bike's own controls with no lag. On supported bikes, fitting takes around [X] minutes.

The LED matrix runs variable from warm to white and shifts while you ride. Warm light cuts back-glare in fog, dust and heavy rain, where cold white bounces straight back at you; switch to white when you want distance and detail on an unlit road. Flood and DRL modes blend white into a bright amber flood for daylight running, because amber reads as a vehicle to drivers at junctions, which is where bikes get missed. Fog Mode drops the beam low, warm and wide, putting light on the road surface and verges rather than into the wall of water in front of you. Marshalling Mode gives a distinct flash and colour pattern for riding in formation or holding position at an event, so the rider behind knows which light is yours.

Most auxiliary lights fix your colour temperature at the factory. The Radial7 blends warm and white across the LED matrix while you ride, so you can match the beam to the conditions instead of the other way round. White for distance and detail on a dry road, warm when fog, dust or spray turns cold light into glare. Adjusted from the cockpit, no filters, no stopping.

The Radial7 is built to run on a HEX Innovate ezCAN. The ezCAN plugs into your bike's CAN bus and reads your existing switchgear, so brightness, mode and flash behaviour are all set from the bars with no relay, no switch pod and no wires cut. Because the ezCAN dims in fine increments rather than stepping between presets, you can trim output to the exact level a road, a group ride or an oncoming car calls for, then leave it configured that way.

CNC machined from billet 6063 aluminium for unparalleled accuracy and refinement. This enables us to machine the parts to exacting high tolerances, especially the refined cooling features. All unnecessary weight is removed. These high efficiency cooling features rapidly dissipate the heat generated by the high-powered LED’s and electronics,

The aluminium bodywork is hard anodised to produce a ceramic aluminium oxide surface that is extremely tough and durable. This is superior to any painted or normal anodised surfaces. offering outstanding resistance to wear and corrosion

All lights benefit from our patented Intelligent Thermal Management (ITM) technology, which actively protects the system from overheating. In situations where airflow is minimal, such as when a vehicle is stationary, output is automatically reduced to maintain safe operating temperatures This could occur if the vehicle is static for a period of time, so that the cooling air flow if minimal. In this situation the power will be reduced. As soon as airflow is restored, the system immediately detects the improved cooling and returns the light to full output within seconds.

To maintain maximum beam efficiency over time, we use toughened glass for the front lenses, obviating the performance degradation to which plastic lenses are susceptible.
