The Strada 13 SB is the brightest Strada we've built, and the first full rebuild in over three years. Its road-specific beam spreads 2,000 measured lumens across the full width of the road, with a focused spot reaching further down the lane. Twin-sensor AKTiv dips the beam below an oncoming driver's eyeline on its own, then returns to full power once they've passed. No button, no thinking required.

It's sealed to IP67, charges over USB-C, doubles as a power bank for your phone or bike computer, and pairs over ANT+ so its battery shows on your head unit. It mounts either way up without changing the beam, so it sits neatly under your computer. Two to 36 hours of runtime, depending on mode. Designed and built in the UK.

DIPS BEFORE YOU THINK TO

The Strada 13 watches the road with two light sensors, where the last Strada had one. Together they read a far wider range of oncoming headlights, so the beam drops below a driver's eyeline the moment a car appears, then returns to full power once it's passed. Both hands stay on the bars, and nobody gets dazzled.

LIT VERGE TO VERGE

Taking its cue from car headlights, the Strada pairs a wide, flat flood with a focused spot. The flood spreads 100° across the tarmac to pick out potholes, gravel and broken edges at the sides of the road, where trouble usually comes from. The 13° spot reaches further down the lane. It's a beam built for the road, not borrowed from a trail light.

2,000 MEASURED LUMENS

Two Cree XHP35.2 LEDs put out 2,000 measured lumens in a clean 5700K white light. And because we quote measured lumens (the light that actually leaves the lens, not what an LED could do in a lab), what you read is what you ride.

IP67. IK09. ANY FORECAST

Sealed to IP67, up from IP65, and impact-rated to IK09, in a CNC-machined, hard-anodised 6063 aluminium body. Rain, road spray, grit, knocks and frost are all part of the job, from −20°C to 60°C (−4°F to 140°F). The forecast doesn't get a vote.

SEEN FROM A KILOMETRE

By day, DayBright switches to a bespoke pulse pattern that's harder to ignore than a standard flash, and visible over a kilometre away even in the brightest conditions. The light that gets you home in the dark also gets you noticed on the way out.

UP TO 36 HOURS

From two hours at full output to 36 on the lowest setting, powered by an 8,000mAh (RS) or 12,000mAh (SB) battery. Pick the mode that suits the ride, and the screen tells you to the minute how long you've got left.

CONNECTED AND CHARGED

Mount the Strada under your bike computer pair it over ANT+, so its battery level shows on your head unit alongside everything else you track. No reaching beneath the bars in the dark just to check. And if your computer or phone starts running low, plug it into the Strada's USB-C port. The light doubles as a power bank, so a flat screen never cuts the ride short.
