Very good light system - the different settings allow to fine tune light output v battery life. The light beam is strong enough even on lowest settings for night riding, and the adaptive dimming feature is useful in traffic.

The SB, Super Bright, AKTiv is at the peak of the Exposure Lights Road range, featuring a Road-Specific Beam Pattern and elevated to 1700 measured lumens. When AKTiv is selected, the light will sense oncoming light sources and auto dim when a vehicle is approaching, no button or thinking required. Specific cut outs to allow side illumination to ensure the rider is visible through 240°. The reversible graphics are a reminder that the Strada can be mounted either way up without a change to beam pattern or technology. There is also a remote switch included which allows the rider to take control if desired.

Intelligent Thermal Management
Patented circuitry within the light will reduce power to the LEDs, if they go beyond the optimum temperature, keeping the light as efficient as possible to maximise output and battery capacity. Once the light has cooled, the power is automatically restored.

Extremely bright, this light exceeded my expectations. It is also very secure on my e bike handlebars. I love this light.
First used on the Doddie Triple Crown Ride to Dublin from Melrose. Bombproof! Great product.
Simply put, awesome. I ride all yr round commuting on shifts, often after midnight & early morning in the dark on unlit back roads in Ireland. Incredible beam into the distance, but just as importantly the side to side illumination lights up the grass verges on both side of the road & into the fields. Exposure lights are an investment. Be warned, they're addictive!! Feeling smug. Bike is a Marin Headlands custom build. And a Marin DSX 2 flat bar gravel bike.

These lights are best I've ever used. I commute daily in the dales morning and night on the road bike and sometimes even gravel rides in the dark over the moors. They light the road / trail with ease. The AKTIV mode is perfect when riding on the road as the light self dims with on coming vehicles. on full power I easily get 2hrs and the light is easy to change mode quickly with the direct switch or the extender switch that can be mounted on the bars. Very impressed and would totally recommend.

Well built, easy programmes and super bright!
I try to set off early on my rides - well before the rush hour -and at this time of year more and more of my ride is in the dark. Before much longer all of it will be in the dark. Some of the ride has street lighting, much of it is completely unlit. So as a new Exposure user I have a variety of different lighting conditions. Being able to switch between High, Medium and Low modes is such a simple procedure as well as enabling the right amount of light for the prevailing lighting conditions. When I reach the pitch black sections of the ride Programme 1 High is superb. It really gives me confidence that riding in the dark is no big deal. Very early days yet, but am very pleased with the Strada. Thank you.
Excellent communication, wanted this for a long time, quick delivery with all tracking provided. Very happy with the light and the extra year warranty by buying directly from Exposure, as opposed to online.
I tried 8 different bike lights before finally getting an Exposure, and I wish I had bought it sooner. It offers the best visibility for night rides, and the battery lasts long enough that I only need one light, even on longer rides. Before, I always had to bring a backup.
Great bit of kit.
I bought my first Exposure light around 16-17 years ago. It has performed faultlessly in that time. Only recently has the battery life reduced to a point I needed a new light. I had no hesitation going back to Exposure as the only company to supply my new lamp which I am delighted with. The stem mount is a nice touch too as it means I can mount the lamp easily and without further clutter on my handlebars. 10/10 for Exposure from me. Great to see a business providing such high quality. Great value for money.

This light is a joy to use. It clips in place on bars quickly as you transfer from charger to bike, unless of course you charge while it’s still on the bike. The rear display is simple and informative. I depend on this light to make me visible to motorists both day and night, but it excels at flooding your path with light at night, even at high speeds. I love that it’s small, lightweight, and in a word, brilliant.

Light is very good for my night rides
I love it the long lasting battery on mode3 last me a whole work week on comute/training :) the active beam tech lowers the beam for upcomming cars. no flashing cars any more that got blinded by my old bikelight. Also the beam is wide to eluminate the whole road, realy handy while riding a dirt/gravel road in the dark. Its a high price but quality and function is great
This is an absolutely outstanding bit kit. Is the only front bar light you’ll ever need for pretty much any purpose apart from extreme off-road. It’s small and light enough to use on road, and yet bright enough to use off-road on gravel tracks. The battery life is very good. I’m getting two hours run time on full power. The unit is very solidly made, and has excellent thermal management so it doesn’t get too ridiculously hot. I bought a cheaper light (in fact a lot cheaper) initially and it just didn’t work for me in real life. This unit is really good and is in my opinion worth the significant increase in price over(Three times the price) and above a cheaper light. At the end of the day a bike light is really all about safety. It’s no use to if it runs out of batteries, it’s no use to you if it overheats and shuts down. I will be buying a second light for my wife, same model.
Took the plunge to pay the high price tag but the quality, customer service and great product appears worth it it. It has given me more confidence to venture out at night having the great bit of kit on the bars. Would benefit from a larger strap to help mount the remote control on my drop bars.

The perfect light - the mounting system is easy, and I use it mounted below my aerobars. The controller button can then still be accessible and I get great light for pre-dawn rides, without having a heavy light on my helmet
Amazing light and built like a tank.
Really like the power and reach of this light. Auto dimming works well. Wish the battery lasted a little longer on full power. I used a MAXX D on my commuting bike for many years leaving a 4:50 AM here in the Pacific Northwest. Wish this light was available back then. Perfect for deep dark country roads here in the foothills of the Cascades now that I’m retired.
Really like it. I have another 1700-lumen light (Cateye brand) and I feel much more confident with the Strada. I feel comfortable riding down pitch-black unlit roads up to around 35 km/h with the Strada on medium brightness and can save the high-brightness mode for descents. The beam pattern is very good for picking up road defects which is my main concern living in the UK with such terrible roads. It's a very harsh white light which seems to make potholes stand out a lot more than with other warmer lights. Battery life is more than good enough for me. Setting off on a four-hour ride two hours before sunrise with liberal use of the high-power mode still left me with 40% battery by the end. User interface is simple and the light is quick to respond. I have the model with Aktiv auto-dipping but depending on the topography you will probably want to dip it yourself so the included remote is very useful. Only had it a week so can't comment on durability yet but it certainly feels very solid. It's expensive but it's by far the most confidence-inspiring light I've ever tried.
