Exactly what I was looking for so I could use the trace at the same time as my saddle bag

Stud Bracket (for Trace)

For my steel hard tail with dropper, nowhere to put a light on the seat post, this has me sorted for the evening rides in the woods.

I like the way they bracket can be used with a go pro mounts

Nice little bracket, I ended up using a spacer and fitting it so it sits over the seat stay to avoid clipping it with my legs when standing up on my gravel bike. Secure fitting means you’re unlikely to have your Trace light bounce out on the rough stuff

Robust tight fit bracket making site line of rear light clearer

Stud Bracket (for Trace)

Works fine and not awful value. It’s certainly strong enough to hold the Trace on rough terrain. But the only thing stopping it rotating if you twist it is a rubber washer so be wary of accidental loosening if you catch it.

Hi, I popped this on, unfortunately on its maiden voyage the bike was dropped on it' side and the bracket broke. To be fair it was a heavy electric bike and it was the first thig to make contact. I have repaired it with epoxy and it seems to grip the light perfectly well. Probably better than having it too strong as it might damage the frame. And the light is in perfect condition. Flexible rubber might be better for mountain bikes.

Purchased this stud bracket to mount directly on my gravel bike. It is very stable and seems to handle all types of terrain and speed. However, the bracket is made of plastic, and broke in half accidentally when a dog pushed over the bike (bracket was on a fender braze-on). I think at this price point and given the market position here, the bracket should be metal or from a far more durable material. (Especially, one should consider they are not shipped with the light, but purchased as a secondary upgrade.) In short, I just don't get why these brackets are being made with brittle plastic, given their reputation and awesome customer service. Note: for what it is worth, I have used it with a 'super glue' type adhesive to reattach the bracket pieces that works thus far.
