The TraceR Bolt-On Brompton Rear Bracket isn't designed for the use case I have, but it was the closest thing I could find. Using the loose nuts and bolts drawers at the hardware store, I put together a mounting system that seems to be working. Note that the the rack has a pre-supplied hole to accommodate a rear reflector bracket; I used that hole to mount the Brompton using #8-32-sized hardware. I put an oversized rubber washer in the mix between the underside of the rack and the flat(ish) side of the Brompton to keep the assembly from sliding around. The light isn't at 90° relative to the ground; it's closer to 85°, or so. I think it's still OK. I thought about adding shimming to correct the angle, but I think it'd just make the mounting unstable. Flipping the bracket around (front-to-back-wise) causes the light to point skyward, so that's a no-go.
So far all good 😊
simple neat attachment, would be good if one was made for the boost series
